How does Ginkgo work?

Ginkgo Biloba is one of the oldest-known living species of trees. The extract (GBE) is taken from its wide, double-or-bi-lobe-leaves (thus, the name "biloba"). Studies suggest that Ginkgo Biloba was among the first herbs used in Chinese medicine to enhance blood circulation to the brain in support of memory and other brain functions.

Ginkgo may help enhance blood circulation to the brain, which may promote mental alertness, clarity and focus. In addition, it is a rich source of antioxidant flavonoids. Antioxidants protect healthy cells from damage caused by free radical (unstable) molecules in the body.
